Singing for Health Network Series Workshop 1 Singing for Trauma, Depression and Anxiety

This 2 hour course will cover:
- An introduction to Singing for Mental Health research
- The impact of trauma on mental and physical health
- Evidence based approaches to working with children and young people
- Delivering an online Singing and Mindfulness programme for adults with anxiety and/or depression – outcomes and findings of a small scale research project
All sessions are recorded and will be sent out to all registered participants.

Join Dr Justin John Moniz as he examines ethical practice in voice teaching through a structured, evidence-informed framework for sustainable, student-centered pedagogy. Although voice teaching operates outside formal licensure models common to allied professions, teachers hold significant responsibility for students’ vocal function, artistic development, and long-term well-being. This course addresses that gap through a five-part paradigm grounded in the NATS Code of Ethics, contemporary research, and applied studio practice.
