Katie Truman-Williams is a Choir Conductor for multiple community choirs in the Bristol area. With an emphasis on creating a quality sound and tackling challenging works, she has adopted a variety of strategies to ensure her choirs are open to all voices and experience. Health and Wellness are fundamental to her approach when leading both large groups and when working one to one with singing students at Evergreen Music School.
Katie graduated from Capilano University (Vancouver, Canada) with a Bachelor of Music Diploma in Vocal Performance, and then after immigrating to the U.K., she graduated from Bristol University with a 1st Class BA in Music (Hons). It was during her time at Bristol, that she developed her passion for academic research.
