Catherine Kimmance has over twenty years of teaching and industry experience. With a former background as a 'triple threat', Catherine has worked internationally as a lead singer, actress and dancer. Prior to her professional career, Catherine attained associate diplomas in singing and piano with the London College of Music and after many years on tour, she continued her music education, gaining a first class degree in music from the University of Liverpool; upon graduation, she was awarded the Evans Memorial Prize for excellence. She later progressed to complete an MA in Professional Practice (Voice Pedagogy) dedicating her main research to peer learning, music performance anxiety, and vocal health for musical theatre students. 

Nowadays, Catherine works as Head of Singing at Liverpool Theatre School, is a visiting lecturer at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, and is principal of an award winning music academy. As a keen choral director, she has directed notable performances at ITV and SKY SPORTS, and also enjoys her role as a musicianship and vocal development tutor with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company.
