Hope McNamara Sear is a technical singing tutor for first- and second-year undergraduate Musical Theatre students at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She also works with young musical theatre performers at Stepping Stone Performing Arts in Oxford.
Originally from Canada, Hope holds a BMus Honours in Voice Performance from the University of Western Ontario. She subsequently trained in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and in Meisner at The Actor’s Temple. She is a qualified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher and Vocal Health First Aider.
Hope believes in empowering singers through vocal understanding and body awareness and works with clients of all ages and levels from her home studio in Oxfordshire and online.
With over 30 years of experience as a performer, she continues to sing in collaborative cabaret settings and for new musical theatre writing projects.
