Course summary:
Join Sarah Algoet as she explores the realm of extreme vocal effects.
All extreme vocal effects are created on top of a solid foundation of basic vocal technique, so one needs to be an advanced singer to be able to apply them healthily. But don’t get me wrong: EVERYBODY can learn how to do them! And you can learn how to teach them healthily.
Sarah will guide you through strategies for teaching different extreme vocal effects such as growl, rattle, distortion and much more, as well as strategies for overcoming any challenges that these effects may present in the voice studio.
This is an introductory course to a complex subject - by the end of the session you will know how to make the effects yourself and understand and decode what's happening when you hear somebody making the sound. You will then be in a position to give the best tuition to your students.

- Ask Sarah for help in your work with a singer: Share a video/audio clip of your singer (with permission!) or explain the challenge.
