Jennifer Myers

Jennifer Myers is a classically trained soprano whose rich and expressive voice has captivated audiences throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. A native of California, Ms. Myers started her career as a competitive figure skater, earning many accolades and titles. Early in her teens, she discovered her love of performing in musical theatre and opera. She was able to use her knowledge and abilities on the ice to teach figure skating, which helped her pay for voice lessons and to eventually attend conservatory. Ms. Myers earned her undergraduate degree with a minor in literature from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington. While completing her studies, she participated in Seattle Opera’s Young Artist Program, which led to her main stage debut in La Cenerentola. Her career has since taken her to stages across the Pacific Northwest, California, and beyond, spanning opera, oratorio, operetta, and musical theatre.

Acclaimed for her versatility, Ms. Myers has performed roles ranging from Cinderella in Into the Woods and Girl #1 in Songs for a New World to Mimi in La Bohème, Gilda in Rigoletto, and Lucy in The Telephone. She has appeared with companies including Bear Valley Music Festival, Bainbridge Opera, Portland Opera, Opera Fresno, California Opera Association, Berkeley Symphony, Verismo Opera, Golden Gate Opera, and Kitsap Opera, among others. In addition to her active performing career, Ms. Myers maintains a thriving international vocal studio, works as a vocal coach, and directs for various theatre companies. A dedicated educator, she is passionate about vocal science and pedagogy, as well as raising awareness of pursuing a performance career while living with lupus and other autoimmune diseases.
