Siobhan Doherty Buffett

Siobhan Doherty Buffett is the Head of Voice and Speech at The Art of Acting Studio, the Los Angeles campus of Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She is a certified Knight-Thompson Speechwork™ teacher, and serves on the KTS Executive Council. She is also an illustrator who recently collaborated with Philip Thompson on the graphics for Experiencing Speech: A Skills-Based, Panlingual Approach to Actor Training (2^nd. ed) and Experiencing Accents: A Knight-Thompson Speechwork™ Guide to Acting in Accent, both published by Routledge. Her company, Speaking of Accents, offers accent and dialect coaching for individuals and productions. Siobhan has worked as an actor in the US with Utah Shakespeare Festival, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, South Coast Rep, PCPA, and Berkeley Repertory Theater. She has taught at UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, Rider University, California School of the Arts San Gabriel Valley and the Actor’s Studio of Orange County. MFA UC Irvine. BA UC Berkeley.
