Hayley Williams

Hayley Williams is a versatile contemporary singer and vocal coach, initially trained in classical and musical theatre, now predominantly working as a soul/pop vocalist after completing a degree in Professional Musicianship at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music. She continuously enhances her vocal education, most recently completing a course in vocal pedagogy and holding a Certificate of Figure Proficiency from Estill Levels 1 and 2. Hayley regularly performs live for corporate events and private functions, and works as a session singer. Her recent performance credits include singing backing vocals at Rewind Festival for the British Electric Foundation, and providing vocals for Heaven 17 and Marc Almond (Soft Cell). She also writes and records dance vocal toplines, jingles, and voiceovers for radio and TV.

Hayley's most recent publication, "The benefits of a regular singing class for pregnant and postpartum women," reflects her innovative integration of professional experience and vocal pedagogy. As a professional singer and mother of two, she personally recognised the significant benefits of her vocal training, particularly in respiratory system knowledge, strength, and coordination, during her own pregnancies and postpartum recovery. This insight led her to create "ExerciSing," a rehabilitative singing class specifically designed for pregnant and postpartum women. This class, a result of cross-disciplinary research and extensive vocal pedagogy practice, demonstrates Hayley's commitment to applying her expertise to promote well-being and recovery within this important demographic.
