Meet Our Students: Lorraine Worley

Lorraine Worley is a retired opera singer and recitalist who has been teaching for over 50 years. She currently teaches at Bristol Cathedral Choir School and Backwell Academy, in addition to running her own private practice from home (online or live).

Royal College of Music (RCM) Professor of Music, Health, and Social Science Rosie Perkins delivered a comprehensive one-hour presentation on ‘Singing and Postnatal Mental Health’, featuring key questions such as why postnatal mental health is important and ‘why music?’, as well as detailing recent research studies, implications and next steps.
